Arafat has assumed that the EU or the US would pressure Israel to agree to even worse terms than they were getting in the Clinton deal ... only now that he is surrounded he says he only wants the same thing he turned down in that deal. He cannot be trusted ... he has said publicly he will gladly lie for his cause ...
